These terms are the agreement between you and Nakodu when you use the Nakodu app and website. By creating an account or using Nakodu, you agree to them.

1. Who can use Nakodu

  • You must be at least 13 years old, or older if the law where you live requires it.
  • Hubs and posts marked 18+ are only for adults. To see them, you give your birthday and must be at least 18.
  • You can't use Nakodu if we've banned you before, or if the law forbids it.

2. Your account

  • Accounts are just a username and a password. There's no email, so a lost password can't be recovered. Keep it safe.
  • You're responsible for what happens on your account. Don't share it or sell it.
  • Don't pick a username that impersonates someone or breaks the rules.

3. Your content

  • You own what you post. You give Nakodu a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and distribute it within Nakodu, and to make technical copies needed to run the service (for example, previews and backups). This licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies others have already shared within Nakodu, such as quotes and crossposts.
  • Only post things you have the right to post.
  • Public posts can be seen by anyone, including people without an account.

4. Rules

You agree to follow the Nakodu Rules and the rules of each hub you take part in. Hub moderators are volunteers who can remove content and ban people from their hub. Nakodu's admins can remove any content and suspend or ban any account that breaks these terms or the rules.

5. Things you must not do

  • Break the law, or help anyone else break it.
  • Spam, run bots without permission, scrape the service, or try to get around limits, bans or blocks.
  • Try to break into accounts or systems, or interfere with how Nakodu works.
  • Infringe anyone's copyright, trademark or other rights.

6. Copyright complaints

If you believe something on Nakodu infringes your copyright, email support@nakodu.top with a link to the content, a description of your work, and your contact details. We'll remove infringing content and may ban repeat infringers.

7. Ending your use

You can stop using Nakodu and delete your account at any time (how). We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or if we have to for legal reasons. We may also change or stop parts of the service; if we shut Nakodu down entirely, we'll give notice in the app where we reasonably can.

8. No warranty

Nakodu is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it running and safe, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that content posted by others is accurate or appropriate. Content belongs to the people who post it, and their views are not ours.

9. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, Nakodu isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for content posted by other people. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll update the date above and tell you in the app. If you keep using Nakodu after a change, you accept the new terms.
