Child Safety Standards
Last updated: 30 October 2026
Nakodu has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These standards apply to everything on Nakodu: posts, comments, images, profiles, chats and messages to moderators.
What's prohibited
- Any content that sexualises minors, whether real, drawn, or generated.
- Grooming: contacting or building a relationship with a minor for sexual purposes.
- Sharing, requesting or linking to CSAM, or trading it in any way.
- Sextortion, or threatening to share intimate images of a minor.
How we prevent it
- Nakodu is not for anyone under 13; everyone gives their birthday when they sign up, and 18+ content needs a birthday showing they're an adult.
- Private messages start as chat requests, which the other person must accept, and anyone can be blocked at any time.
- Every post, comment, profile and chat can be reported from inside the app.
- Admins and moderators can remove content and ban accounts across the whole site.
How to report
- In the app, tap Report on the post, comment or profile.
- Or email support@nakodu.top with a link to the content or the username. Please don't attach the material itself.
- If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police first.
What we do
- We review reports of child safety issues first, ahead of everything else.
- We remove the content and ban the accounts involved.
- We report CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and cooperate with law enforcement as required by law.
- We preserve evidence as required by law for investigations.
