Packing tricks for travelling light
- Roll clothes instead of folding. They take less space and wrinkle less.
- Lay everything out, then put back a third. You always pack more than you wear.
- Wear your bulkiest shoes and jacket on the journey.
- Pack a charger and a change of clothes in your hand luggage in case your bag goes missing.
- Take a photo of your passport and keep it somewhere you can reach without your phone, like an email to yourself.
- Keep a ready bag of toiletries in travel sizes so you never have to pack them from scratch.
